Rebranding time…
09Sep08
Well, things have been busy for a few months now, and while I’ve had time to do some baking, I’ve had considerably less time to write up the recipes. And, I have a new obsession:
This is a summer’s worth of preserved fruit, minus giveaways and jars eaten. So, in honor of one of my favorite childhood books, I’m adding small-batch fruit preserves to the short list of things to blog about.
In the interest of time, I may also be using bread recipes that I find on the web, i.e. those that I can link to and not need to type. With any luck, this will jump-start the blogging process again.
Plus, marmalade season will be here soon!

I’d like to reserve some marmalade, if you’re taking requests. Wait, I have a thought, what if I help, and we make jam and bread to give away as party favors at your wedding. Or you could go with the traditional Jordan Almonds. Or the ever popular nothing. I made some jam with red wine the other day, and a little to much sugar. But every one else likes it. The ACE near me has the small jars you like, do you want me to pick some up for you.
Of course you will receive marmalade. You won’t be able to stop it.
Party favors? Seriously? The pleasure of watching us wed after so many years isn’t enough? Yes, I understand the party favors thing, but it seems a bit silly.
I, of course, am happy with whatever you decide, because the pleasure of doing anything with you guys, even watching you get married is the pinnacle of my plans for next year. I was thinking of all of those others. I spent you a message on facebook very important. Trust me on this.
